Changelog

Briefpoint changelog

Every tracked product and technology change at Briefpoint, dated and sourced. Each entry names the change, its impact and the live source it was graded from.

Product and technology changes only. Funding rounds, valuations, partnerships and awards are excluded, and an acquisition appears only where there is direct product impact. Every entry cites a live retrieved source. Changes to the index's own records are not changelog material; a corrected record carries its own dates.

Find Answers, the feature that drafts interrogatory answers from case files, now runs on credits, where one credit covers one document checked against one interrogatory. Each attorney seat adds 20,000 credits a month to a pool the whole firm shares, Briefpoint Pro adds another 20,000, and use beyond that is billed at 1 cent a credit from 20 October 2026. Firm admins get a credit usage report by user, case and document.

Buyer relevance. The AI answer feature moves from a flat seat price to metered overage, so large matters searched across hundreds of files can add to the invoice. Firms should estimate credit use per matter and watch the admin report in the first billing cycle.

Correct a record, or ask how something was graded

Every grade and every signal on this index is drawn from public sources and dated. If a record is wrong, out of date, or missing an artifact the index did not locate, send the source and it will be reviewed and the record redated. Vendors are welcome to submit documentation. Nothing on this index is for sale, including a listing, a placement, or a grade.

The AI Legal Index is an editorial reference. It is not a regulatory body, not a law firm, and nothing published here is legal advice or a recommendation to retain or avoid a vendor. Records are verified against published sources, bar guidance and public court records. Where a record reads not addressed, the material was not located in public sources on the date shown.
