Casey, Casefleet's AI assistant, can now split a long processed document into up to 20 new PDF sources on request, proposing a name and page range for each that the user must accept before anything is created. The original document is left unchanged, OCR text and page layouts carry over, tags, citations, review status and Bates numbers do not, and each new source carries a note recording its original document and page range.

Buyer relevance. The assistant changes case files only after the user approves its proposal, and the provenance note keeps a trail back to the original exhibit when split documents are later cited. New sources count toward the document limit on plans that have one.

Casefleet began rolling out a rebuilt core interface for facts, sources, tasks, entities, issues and activity, with columns users can show, hide, resize, reorder and pin, filters by witness, issue, date and time, and saved views. It adds vertical timelines on a real time axis, inline comments on facts, a compact mode, and side by side timelines that compare multiple saved views. The classic UI stays available by toggle until November 1, 2026, when the new UI becomes the standard experience.

Buyer relevance. Every existing account moves to the new interface on November 1, 2026, so firms have a fixed date for retraining users. Side by side timelines let case teams line up competing accounts of the facts on large matters in one view.

Casefleet made Claude Opus 5.5 available as the Premium Intelligence model in Casey, its AI case assistant, and recommends it for all users. The vendor states it is 40% cheaper than Opus 5 with performance improvements, and users switch models from the selector in the Casey chat.

Buyer relevance. Casefleet names the underlying model and version, so firms can check it against their own AI use policies and provider terms. The entry does not say whether Opus 5.5 is covered by Zero Data Retention, which Casefleet flagged as unavailable for Claude Fable 5.0 in July, so firms with ZDR requirements should confirm before switching.
