CoCounsel Legal changelog

The AI Legal Index tracks product and technology changes at CoCounsel Legal and has logged one entry, dated Oct 20, 2026. Each entry is dated, names the change and its impact, and cites the live source it was graded from, so a change can be read against the grades on the CoCounsel Legal assessment. Read the CoCounsel Legal assessment.

Product and technology changes only. Funding rounds, valuations, partnerships and awards are excluded, and an acquisition appears only where there is direct product impact. Every entry cites a live retrieved source. Changes to the index's own records are not changelog material; a corrected record carries its own dates.

Integration / interoperability

The classic version of CoCounsel Legal now has an Otto Schmidt Legal Data Hub connector that brings more than 120 modules of expert written German law commentary into its international research workflow. Customers who also subscribe to Otto Schmidt do not need to select it, because research pulls the commentary in alongside Westlaw and Practical Law content, with citations. Thomson Reuters plans to add the connection to the rebuilt agentic CoCounsel Legal in early 2027.

Buyer relevance. Firms with German matters get commentary from a recognized German publisher inside the same research run instead of a second login. The connection sits in the classic product for now, so firms moving to the new CoCounsel should plan around the 2027 date.
