Changelog

CosmoLex changelog

Every tracked product and technology change at CosmoLex, dated and sourced. Each entry names the change, its impact and the live source it was graded from.

Product and technology changes only. Funding rounds, valuations, partnerships and awards are excluded, and an acquisition appears only where there is direct product impact. Every entry cites a live retrieved source. Changes to the index's own records are not changelog material; a corrected record carries its own dates.

Release 10.27.2 lets Canadian firms set province and tax settings per matter instead of one firm wide setting, with a new Province column on the Matters grid for assigning and filtering matters. Province rules such as the British Columbia Trust Administration Fee, the Transaction Levy in Alberta, Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador, and Ontario Form 9A now apply at matter level, and the Paid Taxes and Billed/Collected Taxes reports can target GST, PST, HST or QST.

Buyer relevance. Canadian firms with matters in several provinces can keep trust levies and sales tax correct per matter inside one system rather than relying on workarounds or separate books.

The AI Legal Index is an editorial reference. It is not a regulatory body, not a law firm, and nothing published here is legal advice or a recommendation to retain or avoid a vendor. Records are verified against published sources, bar guidance and public court records. Where a record reads not addressed, the material was not located in public sources on the date shown.
