Changelog

What changed at AI vendors in legal, dated and sourced. Only product and technology changes qualify. Funding rounds, valuations, partnerships and awards are excluded, and an acquisition appears only where there is direct product impact. Every entry cites a live retrieved source. Changes to the index's own records are not changelog material; a corrected record carries its own dates.

Product / capability

Hona launched Lia, an AI case agent for personal injury firms that works the medical treatment phase of a case: appointment reminders, post treatment follow ups and periodic check ins, drawing context from the case management system, providers, appointments and forms where integrations are enabled. Every escalation to staff carries a severity level and resolution tracking, and staff can review Lia's work, assign it tasks, pause it or take over any conversation. Hona reports beta results across live caseloads of 86 percent attendance on appointments Lia tracked to resolution, 74 percent of follow ups answered within 24 hours, and more than 1,100 staff escalations, 270 of them flagged high or critical.

Buyer relevance. Treatment gaps are what insurers use to argue an injury was not serious, so a tool that keeps a client in treatment is working on the value of the case rather than on staff convenience. The beta figures are vendor reported with no methodology, so read them as a claim to test in a pilot, and note that the launch scope is the treatment phase only; intake and the rest of the case lifecycle are described as skills to come.

Correct a record, or ask how something was graded

Every grade and every signal on this index is drawn from public sources and dated. If a record is wrong, out of date, or missing an artifact the index did not locate, send the source and it will be reviewed and the record redated. Vendors are welcome to submit documentation. Nothing on this index is for sale, including a listing, a placement, or a grade.

The AI Legal Index is an editorial reference. It is not a regulatory body, not a law firm, and nothing published here is legal advice or a recommendation to retain or avoid a vendor. Records are verified against published sources, bar guidance and public court records. Where a record reads not addressed, the material was not located in public sources on the date shown.
