iManage released a ChatGPT plugin as part of OpenAI's Astra for Law launch. A lawyer can draft a document such as a negotiation brief in ChatGPT and save it straight to the matter file in iManage.

Buyer relevance. Saving to the matter file is the step that matters. Without it, work drafted in a general assistant lives outside the records system, the retention policy and the security model. Firms should confirm the plugin applies iManage's matter security and ethical walls to what it reads, not only to what it writes.
