SimpleDocs, Law Insider's parent, launched Risk Review 2.0 in SimpleAI, the engine inside the Law Insider Word Add in. It adds a lightweight review profile, a configurable Primary issues checklist (auto renewal, choice of law, use of data for AI training, unlimited liability and more) with custom checks, and a Market review powered by the Law Insider database that flags nonstandard or aggressive terms outside the checklist. Each flagged issue gets a risk level and a Fix action that generates a suggested redline the user can modify, dismiss or apply.
Buyer relevance. Legal teams get a structured first pass review of lower risk agreements without building a full playbook, with market deviations judged against Law Insider's precedent database rather than only the team's own rules. Redlines are proposed, not auto applied, so the lawyer keeps the decision.
