Changelog

Luminary changelog

The AI Legal Index tracks product and technology changes at Luminary and has logged one entry, dated Oct 26, 2026. Each entry is dated, names the change and its impact, and cites the live source it was graded from, so a change can be read against the grades on the Luminary assessment. Read the Luminary assessment.

Product and technology changes only. Funding rounds, valuations, partnerships and awards are excluded, and an acquisition appears only where there is direct product impact. Every entry cites a live retrieved source. Changes to the index's own records are not changelog material; a corrected record carries its own dates.

Integration / interoperability

Luminary launched an MCP connector that makes its trust and estate client data available inside ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and other AI tools. It ships with prepared skills that answer plan questions such as who serves as trustee, project estate tax for a future year of death, and build estate flow diagrams from Luminary's entity values and tax logic.

Buyer relevance. Estate planners can ask a general assistant about a client's plan and get answers from structured plan data instead of uploaded PDFs. Firms should confirm which assistants are approved for client data before turning it on.
