PatSnap changelog

The AI Legal Index tracks product and technology changes at PatSnap and has logged one entry, dated Oct 22, 2026. Each entry is dated, names the change and its impact, and cites the live source it was graded from, so a change can be read against the grades on the PatSnap assessment. Read the PatSnap assessment.

Product and technology changes only. Funding rounds, valuations, partnerships and awards are excluded, and an acquisition appears only where there is direct product impact. Every entry cites a live retrieved source. Changes to the index's own records are not changelog material; a corrected record carries its own dates.

Integration / interoperability

Patsnap made its Life Sciences and Patent MCP servers available inside EMET, BenchSci's agentic research environment for preclinical drug discovery. Scientists connect a Patsnap subscription and query patent, drug, target, clinical and literature data from within EMET, including mapping the patent landscape around a target. The integration is available now and requires a Patsnap MCP subscription.

Buyer relevance. Freedom to operate questions can surface while scientists are still choosing targets, well before counsel is involved. IP teams at drug developers should expect earlier, more informal patent questions as a result.
