Changelog

Simpliciter changelog

The AI Legal Index tracks product and technology changes at Simpliciter and has logged one entry, dated Oct 26, 2026. Each entry is dated, names the change and its impact, and cites the live source it was graded from, so a change can be read against the grades on the Simpliciter assessment. Read the Simpliciter assessment.

Product and technology changes only. Funding rounds, valuations, partnerships and awards are excluded, and an acquisition appears only where there is direct product impact. Every entry cites a live retrieved source. Changes to the index's own records are not changelog material; a corrected record carries its own dates.

Product / capability

Simpliciter added personal skills. Users ask the assistant to save a reusable method for recurring work, such as comparing contracts or preparing client updates, covering the steps, output structure and checks to run. Users can create a skill or customize an existing one without changing it for others, and saved skills are managed from the profile menu.

Buyer relevance. Individual lawyers can encode their own checklists without waiting for a firm template. Personal skills sit outside central review, so firm standards still need a shared home.
