Changelog

Steno changelog

Every tracked product and technology change at Steno, dated and sourced. Each entry names the change, its impact and the live source it was graded from.

Product and technology changes only. Funding rounds, valuations, partnerships and awards are excluded, and an acquisition appears only where there is direct product impact. Every entry cites a live retrieved source. Changes to the index's own records are not changelog material; a corrected record carries its own dates.

Steno opened a public beta of Litigation Genius, an AI case workspace in its Firm Dashboard that extends its deposition transcript analysis to whole case files. Completed Steno jobs automatically create a case loaded with transcripts and marked exhibits, users can add pleadings, medical records, discovery responses and other files, and every answer carries a clickable citation to the exact file and page.

Buyer relevance. Litigation teams already using Steno for depositions get whole record analysis in the same place their transcripts arrive, open to existing Steno clients through their current login. Steno states its model providers work under zero data retention agreements, so client data is not stored by them or used to train models, which matters for privileged and medical records.

Correct a record, or ask how something was graded

Every grade and every signal on this index is drawn from public sources and dated. If a record is wrong, out of date, or missing an artifact the index did not locate, send the source and it will be reviewed and the record redated. Vendors are welcome to submit documentation. Nothing on this index is for sale, including a listing, a placement, or a grade.

The AI Legal Index is an editorial reference. It is not a regulatory body, not a law firm, and nothing published here is legal advice or a recommendation to retain or avoid a vendor. Records are verified against published sources, bar guidance and public court records. Where a record reads not addressed, the material was not located in public sources on the date shown.
