Changelog

Transcend changelog

Every tracked product and technology change at Transcend, dated and sourced. Each entry names the change, its impact and the live source it was graded from.

Product and technology changes only. Funding rounds, valuations, partnerships and awards are excluded, and an acquisition appears only where there is direct product impact. Every entry cites a live retrieved source. Changes to the index's own records are not changelog material; a corrected record carries its own dates.

Transcend's 27 Sept release adds Excluded File Extensions and Excluded MIME Types settings to its Unstructured Discovery integrations, so archives and other unwanted file types are skipped before content is sampled. Verification links the Privacy Center sends by email or text now need an explicit button click before a request is verified or cancelled. The release also moves the Genesys integration to an OAuth client the customer creates in its own Genesys Cloud org, and writes audit trail entries when Shopify workflows are set, replaced or cleared.

Buyer relevance. Privacy teams scanning document stores for personal data can keep archives and irrelevant formats out of the scan, which cuts noise in what discovery reports back. The click to confirm step stops corporate email security scanners, which open every link, from verifying or cancelling a data subject request on the person's behalf.

Correct a record, or ask how something was graded

Every grade and every signal on this index is drawn from public sources and dated. If a record is wrong, out of date, or missing an artifact the index did not locate, send the source and it will be reviewed and the record redated. Vendors are welcome to submit documentation. Nothing on this index is for sale, including a listing, a placement, or a grade.
