Lawcus changelog

The AI Legal Index tracks product and technology changes at Lawcus and has logged one entry, dated Oct 23, 2026. Each entry is dated, names the change and its impact, and cites the live source it was graded from, so a change can be read against the grades on the Lawcus assessment. Read the Lawcus assessment.

Product and technology changes only. Funding rounds, valuations, partnerships and awards are excluded, and an acquisition appears only where there is direct product impact. Every entry cites a live retrieved source. Changes to the index's own records are not changelog material; a corrected record carries its own dates.

Product / capability

Lawcus released a Matter Access Center that lists everyone connected to a matter, including clients, related contacts, assignees and internal members, with each person's access and invitation status. From that view, matter managers can invite people, resend invitations, share the matter, revoke access or remove a firm member. Tasks and events can be assigned to contacts without granting them matter access.

Buyer relevance. Small firms often lose track of who still has portal access to a closed or transferred matter, and this puts that list in one place. Separating task assignment from access lets firms involve outside contacts without opening the whole file.
