Jurisphere
Jurisphere is a legal AI workspace for law firms and in house legal teams, operated by Coresphere100 Technologies Pvt. Ltd. of Greater Noida, India. It was founded in 2024 by Manas Khandelwal, Varun Khandelwal and Sumit Ghosh, and raised $2.2 million in May 2026 from Info Edge Ventures, Flourish Ventures, Antler and 8i Ventures. Ask Juris handles research, document review and drafting. Research runs over a database the vendor puts at more than 200 million documents from Indian courts, tribunals and regulators, with further coverage of the UAE, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the EU, Singapore and Saudi Arabia.
Around it sit Skills and Review Playbooks, Projects with member roles, a file library, translation across more than 22 Indian languages, List of Dates, Parallel Review, Redline Analysis, a Word add in and a mobile app. Named customers include ICICI Bank, Tata Capital, CMS IndusLaw and Argus Partners. The terms commit that customer content is not used to train any model. Seats are licensed per named user at fees agreed in writing, and a separate Network matches clients with independent lawyers.

AI Centrality
How much of the product is actually AI. Whether the machine learning is the mechanism the buyer is paying for or a feature layered onto conventional software, and whether the vendor is specific about which is which.
Every working tool on the platform runs on models. Ask Juris answers research questions through named agents: a master agent that breaks the question into steps, Judgment Search, Legislation Search and Web Search, and a final step that writes the research note. The same surface reviews uploaded documents and drafts in a drafting mode. Skills and Review Playbooks package repeatable review and drafting tasks, and the Word add in brings review, edits, Skills and Playbooks into the open document.
Translation, List of Dates, Parallel Review across large document sets and Redline Analysis run as background model jobs. Projects, the file library and task management organize material for those tools and are not sold separately. The one business line outside the software is the Network, announced with the May 2026 funding, which matches clients with independent lawyers working in the same workspace. The vendor states that all legal services there are delivered by those firms and professionals.
Citation Accuracy and Hallucination Disclosure
Whether the vendor publishes measured accuracy on citations and assertions, grounds output to primary sources, and says plainly what its system does when it does not know. Legal has a documented public record of fabricated citations reaching filed briefs, so an untested claim of accuracy is not evidence.
Research answers carry inline citations and a View Sources tab. A citation opens the source in a side viewer, and a View Source button brings up the original judgment as a PDF to download. Research runs through named agents. A master agent breaks the question into steps, Judgment Search looks through the vendor's own database by meaning, Legislation Search adds statutes and rules, Web Search draws on curated sites, and a final research note combines them with references.
Web Search can also run on its own, turning the tool into a general purpose assistant. In the Word add in, answers cite back to the passage of the open document they rely on. No accuracy rate, hallucination rate, test set or evaluation result is published. The help center lists limits: research is a starting point, not a substitute for independent research or a final opinion, and not a replacement for a dedicated legislation database.
Autonomy and Oversight Model
What the system decides on its own, what a lawyer must approve, and whether the vendor documents where the review point sits. A tool that drafts under review and a tool that files without one are different products and different risks.
Section 1 of the terms requires that every output be subject to human review, independent verification and the user's own professional judgment before it is relied on. Section 5 forbids using outputs to advise anyone without prior review by a legal professional, or to make decisions with a material effect on a person's rights without human oversight. In the product, the research agent plans and runs its own research steps, which the help center calls a free thinking agent working within protocols the platform defines, and it may ask clarifying questions before answering.
Edits proposed in the Word add in arrive one at a time with Show in Document, Apply, Apply with Comment and Dismiss, and Review Playbook flags are accepted, escalated or fixed by the user. Background jobs such as translation, List of Dates and Redline Analysis run unattended once started and cannot be cancelled. Nothing says at what point the agent stops and hands a task back to a person.
Operational and Outcome Evidence
Named, dated evidence that the product works in production at real firms or legal departments. Case studies with figures and identified customers count. Unattributed testimonials and launch announcements do not.
The customers page shows the logos of 36 organizations, among them ICICI Bank, Tata Capital, Unilever, Philips, Zomato, CMS IndusLaw, Khaitan & Associates, Argus Partners and Veritas Legal. Nilanjan Sinha, General Counsel of ICICI Bank, is quoted by name and role, as are partners at CMS IndusLaw, Argus Partners, Touchstone Partners and Trace Law Partners, two senior advocates and a senior arbitrator. Majid Afsar Siddiqi, cofounder of Lex Consult, gives the one figure tied to a name, a task that took five hours now taking half an hour.
Arun Sri Kumar of Keystone Partners says the firm renewed this year after early doubts about hallucinated precedents. The site gives 15 million documents processed, more than 500 teams and an average of 88 hours saved a month, with no method or named customer behind the figures. None of the quotes is dated.
Privilege and Confidentiality Posture
How client confidences are handled: attorney client privilege and work product treatment, segregation of one client matter from another, whether client data trains any model, and what the vendor commits to in writing rather than in marketing.
Section 3 of the terms leaves ownership of uploads, prompts and outputs with the customer and states that Jurisphere does not use Customer Content to train, fine tune or improve any AI model. The privacy policy says automated systems process that content on a transient basis, that staff reach it only for security investigations, legal compliance or at the customer's request, and that uploads may carry legal professional privilege, which its architecture and contracts are designed to preserve.
Projects are isolated from one another, and membership in an organization does not open every project. The confidentiality clause in section 7 runs one way, binding the customer to protect the vendor's information with no matching duty on the vendor. Two retention statements conflict. The terms and privacy policy say content is held in memory only as long as it takes to answer, while the help center says History keeps every task and output and is never deleted, though users can delete matters from it. What third party model providers may keep is not stated.
UPL and Professional Responsibility Posture
Whether the vendor is clear that it supplies a tool rather than legal advice, who its audience is, and how it addresses unauthorized practice of law, competence and supervision duties, and jurisdiction limits. ABA Formal Opinion 512 is the reference point. Where the advice line is not the duty a product raises, the axis is read through the nearest professional duty it does raise: judicial conduct rules and the reviewing duty for products sold only to courts, and the duty to bill for time actually spent for products that draft time entries.
Section 1 of the terms describes outputs as research aids that are not legal advice and states that no lawyer client relationship arises with Jurisphere. A professional responsibility paragraph keeps the duties of competence, diligence and independent judgment with the advocate, together with confidentiality and conflicts, under the conduct rules of the user's own jurisdiction. Section 5 forbids using outputs to advise anyone without prior review by a legal professional.
The services are offered to businesses for professional use, and the account settings list Student among the roles a user can pick. The terms name no Bar Council of India rule, Indian court direction or other specific guidance, and no jurisdiction is excluded from use. The Network page invites clients to find a lawyer and lawyers to join. The funding announcement says all services on the Network are delivered by independent firms and professionals, a statement the Network page itself does not carry.
AI Governance and Bias Disclosure
Published governance over model behavior: who owns it inside the vendor, what is tested before release, and what is disclosed about disparate output across matter types, parties, or populations.
The vendor states that Skills in the Word add in are built and approved by expert lawyers, and that the research agent works within a framework of legal protocols the platform defines. The privacy policy says aggregated, deidentified feedback and ratings are used to evaluate and improve accuracy and reliability. Admins set workspace defaults, and each user's memories stay scoped to that user. No AI governance framework, accountable owner, testing before release, evaluation result or AI management standard such as ISO/IEC 42001 is published.
Nothing addresses bias or uneven output across languages, courts or regions, although the platform translates more than 22 Indian languages and researches across nine jurisdictions.
AI Safety and Data Stewardship
Retention, deletion, access control, and what happens to prompts and documents after they are processed. Whether the vendor states its subprocessors and its incident practice, or leaves the buyer to assume.
The privacy policy states that customer content is encrypted in transit and at rest, without naming a standard, and section 3 of the terms rules out training on it. Users can turn on two step verification and review active sessions by browser, IP address and last seen time. Organization admins invite and remove members and assign user or admin roles, and project admins grant admin, write or read access. Matters can be deleted from History and projects by their creator, and the privacy policy says residual copies stay in backups for a limited period.
Subprocessors are described by category only (hosting and cloud, AI model and API providers, payments, IT and productivity, analytics and marketing) and none is named. No incident response or breach notification commitment is published. The terms ask customers not to upload sensitive personal data as India's SPDI Rules define it, and the privacy policy says Jurisphere acts as data processor for customer data under the customer's agreement.
AI Liability and Recourse
What the vendor stands behind contractually when its output is wrong. Indemnities, caps, carve outs, insurance, and whether any of it is published or only reachable through a negotiated agreement.
Section 8 of the terms caps Jurisphere's total liability at the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim and excludes indirect, consequential and punitive damages, lost profits and lost data. The indemnity runs from the customer to Jurisphere, covering breach, unlawful use and claims over customer content, and nothing runs the other way, including for intellectual property. Section 1 supplies the platform as is, disclaims any warranty that outputs are complete or accurate, and warns that outputs may contain errors.
No service level, uptime target, output warranty or insurance is published. Fees are not refundable on termination, and disputes go to arbitration seated in Mumbai under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. A separate written agreement with a customer prevails over the published terms where the two conflict.
Practice Systems Integration Depth
How deeply the product reaches into the systems legal work already lives in: document management such as iManage and NetDocuments, Word and Outlook, contract lifecycle management, matter management, e-billing, and court filing systems.
The Word add in is documented in depth. It reviews the open document, proposes edits typed as insertion, deletion, rewrite or replacement that the user applies with or without a comment, runs Skills, applies Review Playbooks built on the web platform, and cites answers back to passages in the document. SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox each have a setup page: a user links the account under Settings, picks a destination project and a folder, and Jurisphere syncs that folder in, carrying over edits, deletions, restores, moves and the folder hierarchy.
Sync runs one way, into Jurisphere, and an Activities page shows each incoming file's status. DocuSign connects for signing workflows, files can be forwarded into a project by email, and the terms name an Outlook add in. No document management system such as iManage or NetDocuments, and no matter management or billing system, is supported. Whether synced files keep their SharePoint permissions is not stated.
Deployment Model and Data Residency
Where the software runs and where the data sits. Multi tenant cloud, single tenant, private deployment, on premises, and whether region of residence is a published option or an enterprise conversation.
Jurisphere runs as a cloud service on the web, with a mobile app and Office add ins. The privacy policy says the services combine proprietary models operated in the vendor's own local cloud infrastructure with models and APIs from third party providers, and that third party cloud and hosting providers run the platform. No hosting region, country or cloud provider is named, and nothing states where uploads are stored or where model processing happens.
No tenancy model, single tenant option, private deployment or on premises installation is published. Within an account, projects are isolated from one another. The customer list includes Alfanar of Saudi Arabia, and nothing addresses where a customer outside India has its data stored or how transfers are handled.
Security Certifications and Trust Center
Independent attestation a buyer can pull without a sales call: SOC 2, ISO 27001, penetration test summaries, a trust center with current reports and named scope rather than a badge image.
The privacy policy states that Jurisphere is certified to SOC 2 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and the homepage and security page describe the SOC 2 attestation as Type 2. No auditor, audit period, certificate date or scope statement is published on the website or in the policies. The homepage, the security page and the privacy policy each link to a trust center at trust.jurisphere.ai, hosted on Scrut, as the place for detail on security controls and certifications. The homepage pairs the ISO certification with a statement that contracts and matter data stay confidential and intact.
Model Supply Chain Disclosure
Which models sit underneath, whose they are, where they run, and whether the vendor commits to telling customers when that changes. A legal buyer inherits every dependency it cannot see.
The privacy policy says the services run on a combination of proprietary AI models, operated in the vendor's own local cloud infrastructure, and models and APIs from selected third party providers, engaged only where they give contractual and technical assurances consistent with its privacy commitments. No model, model family or provider is named, and nothing says which tools use which models or whether customer content reaches an outside provider.
The Fair Usage Policy adds that requests above a seat's usage threshold may be served by a lighter weight model, without naming either model. No subprocessor list appears on the website or in the policies, and no notice of model or provider changes is committed.
Commercial Transparency
Whether a buyer can learn what this costs without entering a sales process: published rates, the unit being charged, what sits behind an enterprise tier, and what implementation adds.
No price appears on any Jurisphere page. The Fair Usage Policy licenses seats per named user. Each question asked in Research, Document Review, List of Dates or the Word add in counts against the seat, and translation is counted separately in pages. Usage resets each monthly billing cycle, and above a threshold requests move to a lighter model or a queue rather than stopping. The thresholds themselves are not published.
Section 4 of the terms sets fees as communicated by Jurisphere and accepted in writing, excludes GST, charges 12 percent annual interest on late payment, allows fee changes at renewal on 30 days notice and makes all fees nonrefundable. Every page carries a Sign up link and a Book a demo link, and no plan tier or free trial is described.
Firm and Practice Coverage
Who the product is actually built for. AmLaw, midlaw, small firm and solo, in house departments, government and courts, and which practice areas are supported rather than merely claimed.
The help center's Client Handbook covers twelve practice areas, from due diligence, M&A and commercial transactions to arbitration, commercial litigation, white collar crime, capital markets and real estate. Each has a capability matrix mapping every subtask to the tool that handles it, the lawyer input the output still needs (minimal, moderate or substantial) and what the team receives. Drafting a plaint from firm precedent, for example, is marked substantial.
Research coverage is listed court by court: the Supreme Court of India and every High Court, the Delhi District Courts and Bangalore City Civil Court, thirteen named tribunals and five regulators, with separate lists for the UAE, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the EU, Singapore and Saudi Arabia. The buyers named are law firms, in house teams, enterprises and public institutions. Stated limits include no image analysis, text only outputs and research that does not replace a dedicated legislation database.

Billing and Fee Posture
Read Oct 11, 2026
No published figure
- Jurisphere does not show prices on its website. You agree a price with the company.
- You pay for each person who uses it, and one seat is for one named person.
- Each seat has a monthly allowance of questions and translated pages.
- If you go over, answers come from a lighter model or wait in a queue instead of stopping.
- You cannot get money back once you have paid.
Jurisphere licenses seats per named user and publishes no price. Under the Fair Usage Policy, last updated 23 June 2026, each question asked in Research, Document Review, List of Dates or the Word add in counts against the seat, translation is counted separately in pages, and both reset each monthly billing cycle. Above a seat's threshold, requests may move to a lighter model or a queue rather than stop. Section 4 of the Terms and Conditions sets fees as communicated by Jurisphere and accepted in writing.
Implementation: Not stated.
Confidentiality and data terms: Not applicable. A separate written agreement with a customer prevails over the published terms, and no data processing addendum is published.
Note: No figure appears on the website, so no entry price is shown. Fees exclude GST, late payments carry 12 percent annual interest, fees can change at renewal on 30 days notice, and all fees are nonrefundable. The site offers Sign up and Book a demo links without describing a plan or trial.
Legal Signals
What each signal meansA signal records what public sources say on the date shown. It is not a grade and it is not a recommendation. Where a signal reads Not addressed, it means the index did not locate the material in public sources on that date, which is a statement about disclosure rather than about the product.
Client Data in Training
Can material a lawyer puts into this product be used to train a model?
The published terms prohibit training on customer content. Not a policy page, the agreement.
Section 3 of the Terms and Conditions, last updated 26 May 2026, states that Jurisphere does not use or access Customer Content for any purpose, including to train, fine tune or improve any AI model, and the privacy policy repeats the commitment. The same section grants Jurisphere a perpetual, irrevocable license to process Customer Content to provide, improve and develop its services and products, which the no training sentence overrides by its own wording. Customer Content is defined to include uploads, prompts and outputs.
Prompt and Output Retention
How long does the product keep what a lawyer typed, and can that be set to zero?
Retention is acknowledged in public materials with no stated period.
The terms and the privacy policy both state that Customer Content is held in memory only for as long as it takes to generate a response and is not retained beyond that. The help center describes a History tab that keeps every past research query, document review, translation and other task with its output, says History is never deleted, and keeps outputs even after the underlying files are removed. Users can delete matters from History permanently and delete projects they created, and the privacy policy says residual copies remain in backups for a limited period. No retention period is stated.
Ethical Walls and Matter Segregation
Does retrieval respect the firm’s ethical walls, or can the model read across them?
The product maintains its own permission model, documented, requiring the firm to keep it aligned.
Jurisphere keeps its own permission model at project level. The help center says projects are fully isolated, files and outputs appear only inside the project they belong to, and belonging to the same organization does not grant access to every project. Each project member holds an admin, write or read role, and only project admins manage members. Files synced from SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox land in a project chosen at setup, and nothing says whether the source system's permissions carry across.
Third Party Request and Subpoena Notice
If someone subpoenas the vendor for a firm’s data, does the firm hear about it first?
Published terms or policy address disclosure to authorities or in response to legal process, and no commitment or reservation regarding customer notice is located anywhere. The vendor has told the customer that data can leave and has said nothing about whether the customer hears of it.
The privacy policy permits disclosure of personal data where law, regulation, a court order or a lawful government request requires it, and says Jurisphere accesses Customer Content only where strictly required for security investigation, legal compliance or at the customer's request. Neither the privacy policy nor the terms commits to telling the customer before or after such a disclosure, and no transparency report is published. The privacy policy states that it does not apply to Customer Data, which the customer's agreement governs.
Primary Law Corpus Provenance
Where does the law in this product come from, and does the vendor have the right to use it?
Sources are identified without stating the license or rights basis.
The help center puts the research database at more than 200 million primary source documents and lists its coverage court by court. Judgments of the Supreme Court of India and every High Court are taken exactly as published on the official court websites, through what the vendor calls direct pipelines with authoritative sources, updated continuously. Section 1 of the terms says content may come from public websites, including government databases and court websites.
For the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the EU, Singapore, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, the courts and regulators are named but the source of the documents and the basis for using them are not, and no update interval is given.
Good Law Verification
Does the product tell you when the authority it just cited has been overruled?
The product instructs the reader to check the citation without performing the check.
The research guide tells users to verify sources through the inline citations and the View Sources tab, and section 1 of the terms requires independent verification of every output. No check of whether a cited judgment has been overruled, reversed or stayed, or a provision amended or repealed, is described, and no treatment flag appears with any authority.
Refusal and Uncertainty Behavior
What does the product do when the answer is not in the corpus?
No located public material addresses what the product does when it cannot ground an answer.
No public material describes what Jurisphere does when it cannot find authority for an answer. The help center says the research tool may ask clarifying questions, puts relevance ahead of the number of judgments returned, and can return a high level or generic answer when the question lacks context or the wrong jurisdiction is selected. An FAQ says wording may vary between runs while the substance stays consistent. None of these describes abstaining, a confidence or grounding measure, or a path that returns no answer.
Fabricated Citation Record
Does a public court record exist addressing fabricated or hallucinated legal citations in output from this product?
No court order, opinion or disciplinary record addressing fabricated or hallucinated legal citations produced by this product has been located as of the date shown. This is a statement about the public record on that one subject, not a finding about the product, and this signal is not a litigation history.
The AI Hallucination Cases database maintained by Damien Charlotin records no decision naming Jurisphere or Coresphere100 Technologies. Each judgment the research tool cites links to its source document, and the original judgment downloads as a PDF.
Bar Guidance Alignment
Has the vendor engaged in public with the ethics opinions its buyers are bound by?
Public materials refer to professional responsibility in general terms without naming guidance.
Section 1 of the terms keeps the advocate's duties of competence, diligence and independent judgment with the user, along with confidentiality and conflicts obligations, under the professional conduct rules of the user's own jurisdiction. No Bar Council of India rule, provision of the Advocates Act, 1961, Supreme Court direction on AI generated citations or other named guidance is cited or mapped.
Billing and Fee Posture
Does the vendor address what happens to the bill when the work takes an hour instead of six?
Public materials claim time savings without addressing billing or disclosure, and the product sits inside a fee relationship between a lawyer and a client where those savings would change the bill.
The homepage advertises research ten times faster and an average of 88 hours saved a month to buyers that include law firms, and the cofounder of Lex Consult is quoted on a five hour task now taking half an hour. Trace Law Partners credits it with saving associate time on research, due diligence and drafting. No public material addresses how a firm should bill AI assisted work or disclose it to a client, and section 4 of the terms covers only the fees a customer pays Jurisphere.
Outside Counsel Guideline Readiness
Can a firm get this vendor through a client’s AI clause without a bespoke negotiation?
No located public material supports a client side disclosure obligation.
The privacy policy describes its subprocessors by category (hosting and cloud providers, AI model and API providers, payment, IT and analytics providers) without naming any of them. No subprocessor list, model provider list, data processing addendum or client facing disclosure material is published on the website or in the policies. The privacy policy points to a trust center at trust.jurisphere.ai, hosted on Scrut, for its security controls and certifications.
Court Disclosure Support
If a judge’s standing order requires an AI disclosure, can the product produce one?
Some elements of the record are available, short of a document level export.
Research answers download as a Word file with or without their inline citations, and List of Dates entries each cite a source document and page. The History tab keeps a time stamped record of every task, with the main prompt, follow ups and output, searchable by project and tool. Nothing records which model produced an output or who verified it, and no disclosure record, certification template or guidance on court directions about AI use is published.
